The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Dragic catches Trooper right on the button with a cross.

It looks like Super Trooper has been cut.
Trooper sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Trooper takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Trooper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dragic pinned against the cage. Dragic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Trooper connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Trooper shoots in for a takedown but Dragic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
We've been told by Dragic's head coaches at The Consortium - Rio (Message for Tryouts) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dragic leaves Trooper with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Trooper has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dragan Dragic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Super Trooper.
Trooper darts in looking for a takedown but Dragic gets double underhooks and turns Trooper into the cage.

Trooper tries to break free but Dragic pushes him back against the cage.

Dragic keeps control of Trooper as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Dragic lands a hook that snaps the head of Trooper backwards.
Dragic can't break the clinch.
Dragic misses with a short punch on the inside.
Dragic content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Trooper lands a shoulder strike.
Dragic trying to stall but Trooper improves his position.

Trooper misses with a punch on the inside.
Trooper scores with a shoulder strike.
Trooper is trying to break the clinch but Dragic has him pressed against the cage.
Dragic stalling the fight.

Trooper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Trooper swinging wildly here.
A telegraphed right hand from Dragic misses the target.
A big left from Dragic misses.
Trooper takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Trooper throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dragic sees it coming and avoids it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dragic throws a head kick that misses.
Dragic ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Trooper moves away.
Trooper misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Dragic drops Trooper with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Trooper looks back up at him and smiles so Dragic waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Trooper is rocked!

That has opened up Super Trooper's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Look low, kick high! Dragic uses the oldest trick in the book to send Trooper tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Dragic is absolutely delighted - when Trooper wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dragan Dragic!
Dragan Dragic was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
