Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Jamie!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Jamie or perhaps it was just good defense by Fantuzzi which made him look bad.
Jamie dives in and grabs Fantuzzi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fantuzzi pushes down on Jamie's head and hops out.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jamie.
Roberto Fantuzzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Jamie.
Fantuzzi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fantuzzi lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jamie can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fantuzzi won't allow Jamie to sweep him here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Roberto Fantuzzi.
Oooooh!!! Fantuzzi has knocked Jamie down with a huge combo! Fantuzzi steps away and waves a wobbly Jamie back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
