The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Love shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Love has managed to clinch.
Love is trying to work for a single leg takedown but De La Torre pulls him back up using the underhooks.
De La Torre throws an elbow but it's blocked.
De La Torre using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Love has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

It looks like Alexis Love has been cut.
De La Torre throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Love blocks it with crossed arms.
De La Torre putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Love in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Love fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but De La Torre avoids it really well and circles away.
Nicholas De La Torre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexis Love.

Love shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. De La Torre defends it nicely.
Love tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. De La Torre manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
De La Torre keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Love tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but De La Torre was well out of range. Poor timing from Love.

De La Torre fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Love on the side of the head.
