The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios tries to bum rush McGregor with a series of wild strikes but McGregor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McGregor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rios swivels and escapes.
McGregor showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rios.
Rios throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Rios gets caught flat footed, as McGregor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rios definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
McGregor is looking to work some ground and pound but Rios has wrist control.
McGregor would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
McGregor pushes down on Rios's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Rios tries to get to full guard but McGregor has control of the leg.

Rios is defending against the submission attempts here by McGregor.

McGregor is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
McGregor is thwarting Rios's attempts to control the position.
Rios is trying to get back to full guard.

McGregor is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Rios is looking for a sweep. McGregor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

McGregor stands up and beckons Rios to join him on the feet.
No luck for McGregor with that takedown attempt.

Rios misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rios connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Hector McGregor has been cut.
McGregor fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tyson Rios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector McGregor.
Rios scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McGregor doesn't seem bothered though.
McGregor looks winded!

Rios walks forward and throws a big overhand right! McGregor drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Rios swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from McGregor's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
