The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madness takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A looping hook to the body misses from Madness. Audet does a little dance to reset his feet.
Madness uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Audet.

Madness gets caught flat footed, as Audet shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Madness looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
My spies in Personal Training inform me that Audet has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Audet must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

OK we're going to have a standup here. LC Audet hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Madness is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Audet is just riding it out for now. Madness eventually gives up the hold.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Madness here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

I would just about give that final round to LC Audet.

In defeat, LC Audet stepped up to the mic, saying 'Oh you thought you had me, you only won because this whole crowds your family. You're fuckin whack, you didn't do jack. When I come back, I'll hit you with a mad attack that'll leave your shit all black, and blue. So you can run home to your crew. Bitch!'.
