Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Graeme Norton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jukki Makkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norton's entrance music is back passage only. A fine choice. Jukki Makkonen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

With a record of 2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jukki Makkonen!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makkonen misses with a left hand
and Norton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Norton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Makkonen manages to avoid it.
Makkonen is looking to clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Norton as Makkonen shoots in.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Makkonen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Makkonen missing with a left hand there. Norton was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Makkonen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Norton as he avoids it easily.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Makkonen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Makkonen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Makkonen dives in and grabs Norton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Norton pushes down on Makkonen's head and hops out.

It looks like Jukki Makkonen has been cut.

Norton throws a hook but Makkonen avoids it easily.
Makkonen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Makkonen throws a right hand that Norton ducks under and follows up with a left that Norton also avoids with ease.
Norton lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Makkonen is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Norton throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Makkonen is still on wobbly legs! Can Norton finish him?
Norton circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Makkonen to the canvas! Makkonen doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Norton keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
