Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Noonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ludvig Landersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noonan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 3DD - Kryptonite. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludvig Landersson!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noonan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Landersson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Noonan scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Michael Noonan has been cut.
Noonan misses the jab.
Landersson throws a push kick but Noonan slaps the foot to one side.
Landersson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Landersson scores with a kick to the body.
Landersson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Landersson closes the distance and clinches.
Landersson blocks an uppercut.
Landersson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Landersson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Noonan manages to avoid it.

Landersson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Noonan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Landersson throws out a loose jab but Noonan uses good head movement to avoid it.

Landersson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Landersson throws a hook to the side of Noonan's head but Noonan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd cheers as Landersson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Noonan doesn't seem phased though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Landersson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Landersson throws a push kick but Noonan slaps the foot to one side.
Noonan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Landersson lands with an overhand left.
Landersson throws a series of punches but Noonan avoids them all with ease.
Noonan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Landersson.
Ludvig Landersson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Noonan counters with a nice body kick.
Landersson swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Landersson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Noonan.

Noonan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Noonan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Landersson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Landersson thows a body shot but no joy.
Landersson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Noonan.
A nice leg kick lands there from Noonan.
Noonan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Landersson's calf.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Noonan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Noonan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Landersson defends it well.

Noonan lands a couple of good shots and Landersson has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Landersson is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Noonan gets his way!
Landersson avoids the strikes from Noonan.
Noonan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Even with his hooks in, Noonan manages to miss with strikes from the back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ludvig Landersson will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Landersson tries to bench press Noonan off him but Noonan keeps the position.
Noonan cracks Landersson with a big right hand but Landersson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The cut above Ludvig Landersson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ludvig Landersson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
