The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman moves away from the strike by Routakirves.
Routakirves uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Freeman.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Routakirves.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
You can see the frustration on Freeman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Routakirves working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Freeman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Routakirves on the ground.

Routakirves drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Routakirves jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Routakirves seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Freeman is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
