Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marlon Toepoke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Montgomery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toepoke ducks under a wild hook from Montgomery.
Nice sprawl there from Toepoke as Montgomery shoots in.
Toepoke stuffs the takedown.
Montgomery dives in for a single leg takedown but Toepoke sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Marlon Toepoke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cody Montgomery.

Toepoke manages to pull guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Toepoke uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Toepoke shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Montgomery is trying to defend but Toepoke finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Toepoke is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Montgomery has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Toepoke is working away from the top position though.

Toepoke is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Montgomery is trying to maintain the position but Toepoke is very close to passing his half guard.

Toepoke postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Montgomery to stand up.

Toepoke shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Toepoke was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Toepoke stands up.

Toepoke instigates a clinch.
Montgomery is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Toepoke has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Montgomery uses from the top position.

Montgomery is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Toepoke has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Montgomery is looking to defend but Toepoke has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Montgomery! Toepoke pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Montgomery taps out and this one is all over!
