Almodovar might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Hicks dives in and grabs Almodovar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Almodovar pushes down on Hicks's head and hops out.

Hicks shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Almodovar as he jumps to the side.

Almodovar drops Hicks with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hicks looks back up at him and smiles so Almodovar waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Hicks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Almodovar counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
