Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Dudu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rod Borovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dudu comes into the arena with JAY ELECTRONICA - VOODOO MAN blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Borovsky's choice of entrance music: Im to Sexy. Eduardo Dudu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eduardo Dudu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rod Borovsky!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dudu clinches up against the cage.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Dudu.
Dudu throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Borovsky blocks it with crossed arms.

Dudu has his foot on Borovsky's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Borovsky works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Dudu tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dudu has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Borovsky sneaks back into half guard.

Borovsky is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Dudu pulls his head out easily.
Borovsky is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dudu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dudu's back!

Borovsky is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Dudu is defending well though. Borovsky let's go of the attempt for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Borovsky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Borovsky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

No joy there for Borovsky, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dudu missing with a left hand there. Borovsky was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Borovsky misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Dudu pushes Borovsky up against the cage in a clinch.
Dudu throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Borovsky blocks it with crossed arms.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eduardo Dudu will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Borovsky drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dudu looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dudu looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dudu!
