Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cory Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ima Yerface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Technique-Point of no return. The crowd seem to be enjoying Yerface's choice of entrance music: In Flames - Like You Better Dead. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Yerface, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yerface feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ima Yerface hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Steel misses with a body punch
and Yerface counters with a thumping low kick.
Yerface lands a front kick.
Yerface tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Steel crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Yerface - the referee stops the clock and Steel gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Yerface. Steel manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Yerface drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Steel has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Good leg kick by Yerface there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That was a close round but I would say that Cory Steel will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Steel bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yerface's head backwards.
Yerface lands with an uppercut that bounces Steel off the cage and back into range.
Yerface goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Ima Yerface comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Yerface has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
