Filjandro kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is HOMEGROWN. Emelianenko has chosen Казаки - Ой Да as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kawan Filjandro could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Fedor Emelianenko's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Filjandro lands a left and a right that send Emelianenko crashing to the mat, dazed. Filjandro thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Emelianenko is rocked!

It looks like Fedor Emelianenko has been cut.
Kawan Filjandro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Fedor Emelianenko.
Filjandro closes the distance and clinches up with Emelianenko, looking for a takedown. Filjandro pushes Emelianenko against the ropes but Emelianenko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Filjandro throws a right and a left that both miss.

Emelianenko gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Filjandro looking to sit in guard and control but Emelianenko gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Emelianenko content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Filjandro has locked up a guillotine! Filjandro's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Emelianenko is holding on here and Filjandro must be using up a lot of energy. Emelianenko has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Filjandro gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
