The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon sizes up Nelson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Dixon lands a nice hook to Nelson's body. Nelson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Nelson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dixon on his heels. He'll look to pass Dixon's guard now, I'm sure.

Nelson drops back looking for a leg! Dixon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dixon manages to kick Nelson off! Nelson jumps back into Dixon's guard.
Nelson distracts Dixon with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Nelson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Nelson seems to have locked his on tight now - Dixon screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Nelson, as he picks up the win!
