Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josh Dominguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Helix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Dominguez both land. Nice combination.
Dominguez throws a sloppy head kick and Helix moves out of range easily.
Dominguez pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Dominguez gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Helix wants a takedown but no success here.

Helix is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dominguez can't fight it off and eventually Helix manages to take the fight to the floor. Dominguez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Dominguez controls Helix momentarily but Helix frees himself.
Dominguez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Dominguez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dominguez is on top in guard.

Billy Helix has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Dominguez moves into range and clinches up with Helix.
Dominguez tries to pull guard but Helix won't allow it.

Helix wants the takedown. Dominguez is fighting it off but Helix persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dominguez 's guard against the cage.

Helix pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dominguez is keeping the position for now.
Helix is looking to advance position but Dominguez has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Helix sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Helix is positioning himself well to prevent Dominguez advancing to mount.

Dominguez is working for a submission of some sort.

Helix is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Helix keeps trying to improve his position.
Dominguez misses with a head shot. Helix uses the momentum to regain guard.

Dominguez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Helix swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Helix is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Helix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dominguez . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A decent looking cross lands there for Helix.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
No luck for Dominguez with that takedown attempt.
Dominguez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Helix sprawls well. Helix wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dominguez gets slowly back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Billy Helix will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Helix stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Dominguez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Helix is working away from the top position though.
Dominguez is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Helix is nestled in close to Dominguez , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Helix looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Dominguez is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Helix scores with a couple of nice shots.
Helix lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Helix looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Helix lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Oh Dominguez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Helix scores with a big shot! Dominguez 's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Dominguez ! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
