The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Monroe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Morales swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Monroe.
A looping hook to the body misses from Monroe. Morales does a little dance to reset his feet.
Monroe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Morales lands with a good body shot.

Morales throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Monroe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Morales lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Monroe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Monroe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Morales is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Monroe rather than just go for the knockout.

Morales cracks Monroe with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Monroe looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Morales finish him?

Monroe is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Morales goes for a small jab and connects. Now Morales goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Monroe stumbles back but Morales runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Monroe to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Monroe will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
