Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stan Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chong Zhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivers's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cyco Vision. Zhu is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Meet Gazoo. Stan Rivers could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chong Zhu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Stan Rivers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chong Zhu!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zhu.
A head kick misses from Zhu.

A nice inside leg kick there by Zhu. That's going to slow Rivers down.
Rivers pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rivers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zhu blocks a head kick by Rivers.
Chong Zhu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zhu moves into range and connects with a jab.
Zhu feints and then cracks Rivers's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rivers down.
Rivers tries a head kick but it misses.
Zhu blocks a head kick by Rivers.
Rivers looks to throw the jab but Zhu is out of range.
Rivers tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rivers throws a head kick but Zhu moves out of range.
Zhu walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rivers checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Rivers throws out a powerful jab.
Rivers throws a series of punches but Zhu moves out of range.
Rivers pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zhu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Rivers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zhu moves in looking to clinch but Rivers pushes him off.
Zhu tries to clinch there but Rivers circles away.
Rivers is looking to land body kicks.
Zhu wants to clinch but Rivers slips to the side

and Rivers moves into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Rivers's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Zhu wants to get back to striking at distance but Rivers won't allow it.
Zhu tries a knee to the head but Rivers blocks it.

Rivers manages to break the clinch.
Rivers looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Rivers bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A telegraphed right hand from Zhu misses the target.
Rivers throws a nice looking combination but Zhu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rivers misses with a few strikes there.
Zhu fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rivers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Zhu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rivers takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zhu loads up on a big right hand but Rivers slips the punch.
Zhu wants to clinch
and Rivers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rivers just misses with a punch to the body.
Zhu lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Zhu dodges the punch combination from Rivers.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rivers!

Zhu is rocked!
Zhu throws a nice outside leg kick.
Zhu takes a swing at Rivers's ribcage but misses.
Rivers scores with a head kick. Zhu tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Zhu is still on wobbly legs! Can Rivers finish him?
Rivers misses with a head kick.
The fighters circle, before Rivers throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Zhu's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Rivers lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
