Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Gotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helio dos Passos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotti throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and dos Passos cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gotti throws a combination that misses
enabling dos Passos to counter with a crisp jab.
Gotti throws a wild body kick that dos Passos sees coming a mile off.
Gotti misses the shot to the body.
Gotti throws a sloppy head kick and dos Passos moves out of range easily.
Gotti avoids a kick to the body.

Gotti throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gotti utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

dos Passos thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. dos Passos connects with a nice short shot to Gotti's temple.

dos Passos is working for a kimura but Gotti is defending it quite comfortably.

dos Passos is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gotti doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time dos Passos.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

dos Passos is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Gotti to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

dos Passos dives in for a single leg takedown but Gotti sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Gotti's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Gotti throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gotti misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Gotti finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Gotti is pushing dos Passos's head away, looking to escape. dos Passos manages to hold on to the position though.

dos Passos tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no dos Passos has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

dos Passos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gotti is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

dos Passos is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Gotti looks calm but he's in trouble here. dos Passos gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gotti is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! dos Passos lets go of the hold and Gotti can pop his arm back in it's socket.

A relieved looking Helio dos Passos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
