DaMennis comes to the cage accompanied by Lonely Island - I'm on a Boat (ft. T-Pain). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mack's choice of entrance music: March of the Pigs by Nine Inch Nails. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice jab there from DaMennis.
Mack fails to land with a series of punches.
Mack keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from DaMennis.
Shon Mack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mack throws a right and a left that DaMennis avoids nicely.
Mack throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mack scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Mack misses with a few strikes there.
Mack misses with a series of wild punches.
DaMennis misses with a hook. Mack ducked under it nicely.
Mack tries to score with a low kick but DaMennis moves his leg out of the way.
DaMennis is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Mack flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Mack is out cold! DaMennis holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
