Away kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rude Boy Dreams. Conan Drogo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drogo misses with a body shot.
Drogo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Drogo swinging wildly here.
Drogo stuffs the takedown attempt from Away. Away gets slowly back to his feet.
Away walks forward, straight into a front kick from Drogo.
Drogo lands with a right hand.

Drogo cracks Away with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Drogo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Away to stand back up!

Away is rocked!

It looks like Maubee Away has been cut.
Conan Drogo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drogo is stalking Away. Away circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Drogo, and it's lights out! Away really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Conan Drogo!
A relieved looking Conan Drogo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
