PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bloodlet Dunne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons has chosen country grammer as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Manny Simmons told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Dunne seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Simmons wants to get up but he can't break Dunne's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Simmons got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dunne has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Simmons has managed to get both his arms back between Dunne's legs - danger averted.

Simmons drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dunne looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dunne looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dunne!
