Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nova Uniao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emerson Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cain has chosen I Love this Road (Emerson Drive) as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Emerson Cain!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uniao avoids a kick to the body.
Uniao avoids the body shot from Cain.
Cain just misses with a punch to the body.
Cain swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cain swings for the body but Uniao moves out of range.
Cain lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Cain looks to land a right hand but Uniao moved out of range.
Cain loads up on a big right hand but Uniao slips the punch.
A telegraphed right hand from Uniao misses the target.
Cain ducks under a wild hook from Uniao.
Emerson Cain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Uniao closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Uniao lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Cain looking for a guillotine here but Uniao defends easily.
Uniao stands and throws Cain's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Cain struggling a bit here.

Uniao cracks Cain with an elbow. That is naaassty.
You can see the frustration on Cain's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Uniao throws an elbow but Cain slips to the side and avoids it well.
Uniao lands a nice forearm strike.
Cain manages to work his way to half guard, despite Uniao's best efforts.
Uniao seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Uniao wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cain keeps working.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cain trying to hold on to Uniao's head to control him but Uniao postures up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Uniao connects with a nice short shot to Cain's temple.

Uniao is trying to control the action in half guard but Cain is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Cain wants to control but Uniao is keeping busy.
Cain is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Uniao is nestled in close to Cain, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cain is in trouble now - Uniao has advanced to mount!
Uniao trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Cain wants to control but Uniao is having none of it.
Uniao prevents Cain from getting the reversal.
Uniao connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Cain tries to lock up and control but Uniao gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cain can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Uniao is landing with some decent strikes but Cain is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Cain is looking to get to half guard.
Uniao postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Cain badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Uniao around the waist but Uniao pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Uniao is the winner by TKO! Uniao jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nova Uniao!
After winning the bout, Nova Uniao thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
