Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Jean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Howlett!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Howlett catches Jean right on the button with a cross.
Howlett misses with a few strikes there.
Sloppy strikes from Jean. Those never looked like landing.
Howlett looks to score with a jab to the body but Jean is just out of range.
Nice defenses there by Jean.
Jean with a hook.
Howlett will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Howlett lands a really nice looking cross but Jean seems unphased.
Jean misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jean ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A big right from Howlett misses.
Howlett tests Jean's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Howlett throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jean looks to land a combination but Howlett avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Howlett dips to his left and cracks Jean with an uppercut!
Howlett's coach down at Bruize Brothers was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Howlett's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Jean keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Howlett. Jean does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jean misses with a body shot.
Howlett throws an overhand right that lands on Jean's shoulder, as Jean tries to avoid the shot.
Howlett feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jeans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!


Jean is rocked!
Jean is aggressively charging in as Howlett backs up avoiding any damage. Howlett tosses out a jab and Jean runs right into it face first! Jean is out cold! Howlett dropped down on all fours and is barking in Jean's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Howlett!
James Howlett seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
