Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rampage Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Rampage. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rampage Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Walker!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson with a lazy takedown attempt

and Walker counters with a crisp one two that drops Jackson! Walker thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jackson to his feet! Jackson is in big trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Walker counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Walker.


Jackson is rocked!
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Walker passes Jackson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Walker is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Walker passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jackson!

Walker looking to secure an arm triangle but Jackson defends it well.
The referee warns Jackson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Walker can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape.
Jackson is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Walker content just to control the position here.

Walker has control of Jackson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jackson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Walker looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Walker moves to take his opponent's back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walker tries to get the hooks in deep but Jackson pushed the leg off.
Walker is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Walker gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Walker gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Walker apologises and we restart here on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Walker clinches up with Jackson and pushes him back against the cage.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Walker is on top in guard.
Walker stays in close to Jackson's body and controls the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Don Walker wasn't active enough on the ground.

We've been informed that Walker has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Walker winds up and cracks Jackson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Walker is trying to work for a kimura but Jackson is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walker seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Walker is keen to just control but Jackson is a slippery customer.
Walker seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Jackson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Walker circles away.

No joy there for Walker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Walker postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Walker, into his guard.

Don Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Walker wanted to stand there but Jackson had control of the position.

Don Walker is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Don Walker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Walker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
