Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gustavo Meranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and K The Rad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meranda's entrance music is Whats Beef. A fine choice. Rad is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Game - Scared Now Ft. Meek Mill . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rad throws a leg kick but Meranda moved away.
Rad keeps Meranda at a distance using the push kick.
Meranda shoots in but Rad avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rad misses with a low kick as Meranda jumps back.
Meranda on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
K The Rad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rad misses with a straight left.
Rad darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Rad lands a nice looking kick to the body. Meranda takes a step back to recover.
Rad throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Meranda sees it coming and avoids it easily.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Meranda. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Rad's coach down at Average Joes was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rad's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Meranda has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rad finds it's way round the side to connect with Meranda's head.
