Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Eash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trunks Brief (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eash kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eminem-Bezerk. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Eash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trunks Brief!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Brief looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Brief gets caught flat footed, as Eash shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eash wants to control from the top but Brief keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Eash thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Eash is really struggling to control Brief but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Mike Eash just wasn't active enough.

Eash seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brief does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Eash seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Eash is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Brief is keeping busy.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Eash in particular looking to stall.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Trunks Brief hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Eash throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Brief was covering up waiting for the punch and Eash finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brief is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Eash defends well.
Eash is fighting to break Brief's control of his arms but Brief is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Well Eash has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
