Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakeem Berzevaco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berzevaco is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kaksi vanhaa hinttaria. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Hakeem Berzevaco!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Andersen. Berzevaco does a little dance to reset his feet.
Andersen moves to clinch but Berzevaco breaks away
and Berzevaco counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A head kick by Andersen misses
and Berzevaco counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Berzevaco avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Andersen tries to clinch up
and Berzevaco counters with a stiff right hand.
Berzevaco misses the shot to the body.
Berzevaco rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Andersen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Andersen wants to clinch but Berzevaco slips to the side
and Berzevaco counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Andersen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Berzevaco is trying to break the clinch but Andersen is controlling him.
Berzevaco displaying some good clinch control by pressing Andersen up against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Andersen misses with a hook. Berzevaco ducked under it nicely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Andersen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Andersen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Berzevaco's hands.

Berzevaco escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hakeem Berzevaco is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Berzevaco moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Berzevaco is looking to break free of the clinch but Andersen has double underhooks.
Andersen is trying to stall.

Berzevaco managing to block the knees to the body from Andersen.
Andersen softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Andersen.
Berzevaco doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Berzevaco dodges an elbow strike from Andersen.
Andersen lands an uppercut.
Berzevaco struggles to land a body shot inside as Andersen controls his hands.
Andersen tries to work over Berzevaco's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Berzevaco is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Andersen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Berzevaco has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Andersen is proving hard to escape from.

Berzevaco is in close to Andersen's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Berzevaco wants to stand but Andersen is controlling his posture from full guard.
Andersen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Berzevaco is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Berzevaco wanted to stand there but Andersen had control of the position.

Berzevaco gets to his feet. Andersen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Berzevaco tries to bum rush Andersen with a series of wild strikes but Andersen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Berzevaco swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Berzevaco swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Berzevaco is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Andersen.
Andersen moves in looking to clinch but Berzevaco pushes him off.
Andersen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Berzevaco counters with a good, hard body kick but Andersen shrugs it off.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Klaus Andersen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Berzevaco lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Andersen wants to clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Andersen closes the distance but Berzevaco moves to the side
and Berzevaco counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Hakeem Berzevaco will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Berzevaco counters with a good, hard body kick but Andersen shrugs it off.
Andersen wants to clinch.
Andersen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Berzevaco keeps the fight on the outside.
Andersen tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Berzevaco counters with a right hand to the body.
Andersen tries to clinch but Berzevaco moves away
and Berzevaco counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Andersen moves to clinch but Berzevaco breaks away
and Berzevaco finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Andersen looks to clinch
and Berzevaco counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Andersen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Berzevaco lands a left and a right that send Andersen crashing to the mat, dazed. Berzevaco thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Andersen is rocked!


It looks like Klaus Andersen has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Berzevaco engages and cracks Andersen with a massive lead left hook - Andersen tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Berzevaco is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hakeem Berzevaco!
Hakeem Berzevaco really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Cyclone Nutrition Company logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
