Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Pae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JunJun Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pae throws a leg kick but Jones checks it.
Pae tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Pae tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Pae lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jones jumps guard but Pae stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Jones's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Pae lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Jones.

Jones wants the takedown. Pae is fighting it off but Jones persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Pae's guard against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones wants to control from the top but Pae keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. JunJun Jones wasn't active enough on the ground.

Pae lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Pae takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Joe Pae seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Crunch! Pae slams his shin into Jones's torso.

Pae rushes Jones and presses him up against the cage.
Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Joe Pae has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JunJun Jones.
Pae misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jones tries to break free but Pae pushes him back against the cage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pae as he avoids it easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Pae has Jones up against the cage in a clinch.

Pae escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pae scores with a nice body kick.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Pae tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pae manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Nice uppercut there from Pae.
Pae throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Pae.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Jones steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pae. That one must have hurt.
