Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Con Waterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Puckerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waterson comes to the cage accompanied by Oasis - Roll With It. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Con Waterson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Noah Puckerman!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waterson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.


It looks like Noah Puckerman has been cut.
Waterson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Puckerman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Waterson was well out of range. Poor timing from Puckerman.

The crowd cheers as Puckerman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Waterson doesn't seem phased though.

and Waterson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Waterson.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Puckerman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Waterson's guard.

Puckerman would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Waterson is on top in guard.
Waterson's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Waterson postures up.
Waterson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Puckerman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Waterson manages to get himself to full guard.
Waterson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Puckerman wants to stand but Waterson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Puckerman is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Con Waterson wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Waterson throws a lazy body kick
and Puckerman makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Waterson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Waterson looks to score with a jab to the body but Puckerman is just out of range.
Puckerman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Waterson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Puckerman is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Waterson rather than just go for the knockout.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Waterson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Puckerman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Waterson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Puckerman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Waterson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.


It looks like Con Waterson has been cut.
Puckerman cracks Waterson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Puckerman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Waterson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Puckerman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Waterson.
Waterson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Puckerman counters with a left to the body.
Waterson is breathing heavily.
Waterson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Waterson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Puckerman, as that shot connected.
Puckerman lands with a straight right. Waterson didn't see that one coming.

and Waterson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Puckerman won't be happy with that.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Puckerman sneaks back into half guard.
Puckerman is looking to improve his position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Puckerman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Noah Puckerman dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Puckerman takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Puckerman has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
A slapping body kick lands there for Puckerman.
Waterson throws a body punch but Puckerman moves out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Puckerman. That's going to slow Waterson down.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Puckerman walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Waterson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Puckerman swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Waterson's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noah Puckerman!

After the big win, Noah Puckerman made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors L.A. Elite Clothing Co and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
