Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edward Furlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cruz Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Furlong comes to the cage accompanied by Say it Ain't So. Jefferson has chosen Damian Marley - Welcome to Jamrock as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Furlong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefferson lands a leg kick that knocks Furlong off balance momentarily.
Furlong checks a low kick from Jefferson.
Jefferson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Furlong changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jefferson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Furlong working the strikes but Jefferson uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Furlong is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jefferson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Furlong.

Jefferson is staying active underneath Furlong, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Furlong wants to advance to full mount but Jefferson doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Jefferson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Furlong controls the pace.

Furlong chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jefferson can pounce on him.

Furlong drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jefferson pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Jefferson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Furlong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jefferson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jefferson is looking to clinch but Furlong is avoiding it.
Jefferson slaps away a takedown attempt from Furlong, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Furlong smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Furlong dives in and grabs Jefferson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jefferson pushes down on Furlong's head and hops out.

Furlong seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jefferson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Furlong is just content to waste time from the top position. Jefferson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Furlong is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jefferson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Jefferson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Furlong manages to get himself to full guard.
Edward Furlong overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jefferson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Furlong's brow.
Jefferson is looking to control Furlong's arms but Furlong gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jefferson has his back to the cage.
And that's the end of the fight!
Cruz Jefferson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jefferson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
