Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garrison Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mason was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Henderson tries to control the position but Mason now has his back.
Mason doesn't have the hooks in and Henderson manages to turn into his guard.
Mason is trying to control the position but Henderson postures up.

Mason wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Henderson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mason counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Mason has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Henderson is trying to keep an underhook but Mason manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Mason is nestled in close to Henderson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Mason takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
