Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Polish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xupisco Colossal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polish's entrance music is Ice Cube Today was a Good Day. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colossal throws a lazy right hand but Polish sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Polish scores with a spinning back kick!
Colossal misses with a series of wild punches.
Colossal tries to score a power double leg takedown but Polish sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Colossal somewhat.
Colossal shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Polish but Polish pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Colossal misses with a jab, cross combination.
Colossal fails with the takedown.
James Polish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xupisco Colossal.
Polish bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Colossal shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Polish as he avoids it easily.

Polish gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Colossal takes a knee to the side of the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Colossal is trying to push Polish away but Polish has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Colossal leaves Polish with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Xupisco Colossal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
