Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Latka Gravas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joni Betoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Betoni has chosen Amaranthe - Amarathine as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Betoni gets a clinch.
Gravas blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Betoni can't break the clinch.
Betoni tries for a takedown. No joy.
Betoni blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gravas lands a right hand that snaps the head of Betoni backwards.
Gravas misses with some punches.

Betoni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gravas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Betoni.

Betoni clinches.
Gravas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Gravas misses with a punch on the inside.
Gravas struggles to land a body shot inside as Betoni controls his hands.
A head punch on the inside from Gravas fails to land.

Gravas breaks the clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gravas.

Betoni shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A low kick from Gravas is predictable there
and Betoni counters with a left and a right that stings Gravas.
Betoni moves out of range of the leg kick from Gravas.
A slow jab from Gravas misses its intended target.
Nice sprawl there from Gravas as Betoni shoots in.
Latka Gravas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joni Betoni.
Betoni wants to clinch up but Gravas keeps it at a distance.
Latka Gravas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gravas scores with a jab. Betoni acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Gravas pounces like a tiger and cracks Betoni with a vicious hook! Betoni is down but not out! Gravas follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
