Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Grap Dummy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, JayDee Penn!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dummy did well to prevent Penn getting side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Penn is looking for a kimura but Dummy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Penn to get the leverage.
Dummy tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Penn has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Penn wants to control the pace but Dummy is squirming around nicely.

Penn goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dummy is on top in guard.
Our spies down at at Blitzkrieg Fighting Systems: Ground inform us that Penn has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Dummy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Dummy trying to control the position from guard on top but Penn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dummy lands a couple of elbows.
Dummy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Penn keeping moving, preventing Dummy from controlling successfully.

Penn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dummy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Grap Dummy has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Penn shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dummy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Penn looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Dummy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Penn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dummy working for submissions but it's allowed Penn to get to half guard.

Dummy is not content to let Penn control the position.
Dummy throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Dummy tries to roll over but Penn keeps him under control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dummy is refusing to be controlled, as Penn sits in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but JayDee Penn will probably get the nod.
That's time! Dummy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dummy enables Penn to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dummy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Penn is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Penn drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dummy dives on top into guard.

Dummy controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Penn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Penn looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dummy passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dummy looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Dummy thows a huge punch but Penn dodges it nicely.
Dummy drops an elbow to the side of Penn's head.
Dummy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Penn!

It looks like JayDee Penn has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dummy trying to control but Penn is having none of it.

Penn tries to improve his position but Dummy has taken his back! Dummy has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Penn tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Dummy pushes Penn away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
