The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fatu gets caught flat footed, as Longue shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Longue wants to pass the guard but Fatu is keeping the position.

Fatu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Fatu is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Longue postures up and lands a big shot to Fatu's brow.
Longue wants to get up but he can't break Fatu's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Fatu is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Longue is aware though and is defending well.

Fatu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Longue can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fatu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Longue doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Longue manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Longue wanted to stand there but Fatu had control of the position.

Fatu is looking to cinch up a triangle. Longue throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Fatu's body to avoid the submission. Fatu has instead reached around Longue's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Fatu arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
