Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Purple Haze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Miguel Adams will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haze fails to land the takedown.
Haze doesn't manage to clinch there - Adams circles away.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Haze stands up and waves to Adams to follow him.

Haze tries to clinch up but Adams circles away and keeps his distance.

Haze is looking to control Adams's arms but Adams gets an underhook and turns him. Now Haze has his back to the cage.
Haze is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Adams is defending well for now.
Haze unloads a knee to the mid-section. Adams lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Adams blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Haze jumps guard but Adams stands there with Haze around his waist. Haze gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Haze breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Haze drives through and clinches with Adams against the cage.
Adams on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Haze has a couple of punches blocked by Adams.
Haze tries to pull guard but Adams holds him up against the cage and eventually Haze drops back down to his feet.
Adams tries to circle away but Haze has him pinned against the cage.

Haze just leaning against Adams, taking a breather.
Haze lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Haze tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Adams just stands there and leans against the cage.
Haze breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Haze gets a double leg takedown into Adams's guard.

Haze wants to control from the top but Adams keeps moving.
Haze stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Haze misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Adams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Haze fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Adams avoids it really well and circles away.
Haze drives through with a takedown into guard.
Haze tries to free his leg and advance position but Adams is retaining full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Purple Haze wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Haze shoots for a double leg takedown but Adams sprawls well. He's pushed Haze's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Haze scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Adams tries to circle away but Haze has him pinned against the cage.
Haze has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Adams avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Haze pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Haze tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Adams paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Haze fails in his attempt to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Haze shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Adams sprawls well. Adams wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Haze gets slowly back to his feet.
Haze tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Adams is able to avoid easily.
Purple Haze is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Adams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Haze.
Haze darts in and clinches Adams up against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Adams as Haze tries to tie him up.
Adams gets underhooks to prevent Haze's takedown attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Haze changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Adams tries to avoid it but Haze manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Adams to the ground. Adams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Haze forces his way into half guard.
Haze is looking for a kimura but Adams is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Haze to get the leverage.

Adams on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Haze content to control rather than advance.
Haze moves nicely into side control.

Haze decides to stand back up.
Haze shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Adams pinned against the cage. Adams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Haze shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Haze was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Adams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haze. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Haze is working to tighten his grip on Adams's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Adams has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Haze is really squeezing tight and eventually Adams passes out! Haze breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
