The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmermans throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gorski's waist but Gorski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Timmermans off to one side.
Gorski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Timmermans sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gorski somewhat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Timmermans.
Gorski fails in his attempt to clinch.
Timmermans looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gorski is fending him off so far but Timmermans persists. Nope, Gorski circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeffrey Timmermans. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gorski throws a head kick but Timmermans moves out of range.
Gorski shoots in and bounces Timmermans off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
