Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nihat Ryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Garner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garner closes the distance but Ryu moves to the side
and Ryu counters with a nice body kick.
Garner moves to clinch but Ryu breaks away
and Ryu counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
A head kick misses from Ryu.

Ryu rushes Garner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ryu manages to break the clinch.
Garner doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ryu counters with a series of strikes. Garner will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Ryu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Ryu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Ryu works over Garner with some ground and pound from guard.
Garner is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Garner is looking to stand up but Ryu isn't so interested in that idea.

Ryu is pulling down on Garner's head. It's preventing any offense from Garner, at least for the moment.
Ryu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ryu tries to get out of the position.

Ash Garner has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Ryu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Garner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Garner shoots in looking for a takedown. Ryu tries to sprawl out of it but Garner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ryu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nihat Ryu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ash Garner.

Ryu throws a combination. Garner tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Garner shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ryu keeps Garner at a distance using the push kick.
Garner looks winded!

Ryu moves into the clinch.
Garner misses with a short punch on the inside.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Garner just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ryu's brow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Garner is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ryu to keep the fight standing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ryu is working for takedown but Garner is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ryu has Garner pressed against the cage, preventing Garner from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Ryu forces Garner back against the cage and clinches.
Ryu goes for a takedown attempt but Garner pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Garner tries to close the distance and clinch but Ryu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nihat Ryu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ryu fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ryu thuds a left hand into Garner's body.
Garner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ryu counters with a big head kick but Garner shrugs it off.
Garner takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ryu keeps the fight on the outside.

Ryu moves into the clinch.
Garner missing with knees to the body.

Ryu has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Garner clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Garner is trapped and Ryu is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Garner is breathing heavily.
Ryu lands punches and elbows.
Ryu is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Garner up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ryu wants to control but Garner is keeping busy.
Ryu gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Garner is rocked!
Garner covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Garner is still in real trouble! Can Ryu finish him?
Ryu cracks Garner with a big right hand from the back mount! Garner immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! Ryu takes this one by TKO!
