Fortunado's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bob Dylan-Knockin' on Heaven's Door . Stark comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortunado misses with a wild body shot.
Fortunado punishes Stark's body with a nice straight punch.
Fortunado avoids the head kick by Stark.
Fortunado has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Stark tries to keep at a distance but Fortunado has taken the fight into the clinch.

Fortunado lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Stark backwards.
Fortunado pushes Stark back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stark is pushing Fortunado up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Fortunado breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fortunado connects with a body shot that sends Stark's belly button to the back.
Fortunado throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Stark cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Oooooh!!! Fortunado has knocked Stark down with a huge combo! Fortunado steps away and waves a wobbly Stark back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stark slips under a jab.
Fortunado throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Stark's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Fortunado dives in looking to finish as Stark flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Fortunado's strikes! Fortunado is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Stark's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Stark was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
