Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Vanbelt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cheez Itz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vanbelt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Meet the Monster. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanbelt tries to clinch but Itz is having none of it.
Vanbelt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

It looks like Cheez Itz has been cut.

Itz regains half guard there - taking advantage of Vanbelt's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Itz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Itz lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Itz is working an open guard so Vanbelt takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Itz swings for the body but Vanbelt moves out of range.

and Itz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that Cedric Vanbelt will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Vanbelt rushes Itz and presses him up against the cage.

Vanbelt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
