Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Napoles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Moreira as he avoids it easily.
Moreira lands a jab-cross combination.
Napoles closes this distance looking for a takedown but Moreira circles away.
Moreira throws a series of strikes that have Napoles backpedaling.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacques Lim Napoles. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Napoles closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Moreira wants to get back to his feet.
Moreira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Napoles. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Napoles is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Moreira is just riding it out for now. Napoles eventually gives up the hold.
Napoles looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Moreira pushes Napoles off looking to stand but Napoles dives back in and keeps control.
Moreira is refusing to be controlled, as Napoles sits in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Napoles seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Moreira is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
