Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Burczynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross comes to the cage accompanied by Neck of the Woods. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Ross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kamil Burczynski!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Burczynski. That did some damage!
Ross shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Burczynski but Burczynski pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ross connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

so Burczynski counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ross has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Burczynski wants to control from the top but Ross keeps moving.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Burczynski working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Ross wants to sweep here but Burczynski controlling him for the moment.

Burczynski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Burczynski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Burczynski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ross swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kamil Burczynski wasn't active enough on the ground.
The fighters circle momentarily. Burczynski darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

I've got Burczynski winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
