Boulder has chosen Voodoo Child as his entrance music. Alex Boulder is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Boulder.
Sells ducks right into an uppercut from Boulder.
Boulder lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sells takes a step back to recover.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sells doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boulder counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sells is breathing heavily.
Boulder lands a high kick to the side of Sells's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Boulder dives into guard, looking to finish.
It looks like Jojo Sells has been cut.
Boulder makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sells working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Boulder.
Boulder wanted to stand there but Sells had control of the position.
Boulder is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Boulder wants to control from the top but Sells keeps moving.
Boulder trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Boulder told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Sells lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Boulder!

Boulder tries to lock up and control but Sells gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Sells is landing with some decent strikes but Boulder is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Sells prevents Boulder from getting the reversal.
Sells connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sells mounts Boulder! Really nice guard pass there!
Sells content just to control the position here.

Boulder tries to control Sells's body but Sells pushes him off. Boulder squirms to his side and now Sells has his back!
Sells controls the action.
Sells has Boulder flattened out and is raining down punches.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Boulder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sells. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sells seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Boulder for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jojo Sells.
Boulder fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sells looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boulder drops Sells with a left and a right! Oh, Sells is hurt - Boulder dives into side control looking to finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boulder is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sells knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
