The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lohk looks for a takedown but Ershaw sprawls well.

Ershaw seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lohk does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lohk manages to get to full guard.
Lohk wants to sweep but no luck.

Lohk had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ershaw is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lohk Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ershaw's back instead.

Lohk is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Ershaw defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
