The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braga throws a combination that misses
and Valasquez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Braga swings for the body but Valasquez moves out of range.
Valasquez's jab looks to have found its range, popping Braga under the eye.
Braga misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Valasquez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cain Valasquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valasquez connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
No joy there for Braga, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Valasquez lands a jab to the head.

Braga is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Braga leaves his chin hanging out and Valasquez seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Braga crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
