Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Meighen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiger Mask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mask has chosen Wait, what? OH MY GOD, Tiger has joined the Dark Side!! as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mask slips under a jab.
Mask looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Meighen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mask.
A solid leg kick lands there for Meighen.
Meighen slips a straight right by Mask.
Meighen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mask moves away.
Meighen misses with a looping right.
Mask moves out of range of the strikes.

Mask is looking to score with low kicks.
Meighen lands a glancing blow to the side of Mask's head.
Meighen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Meighen dives in for a single leg takedown but Mask sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Mask counters with a nice double leg into side control. Meighen won't be happy with that.
Meighen is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mask is controlling him well.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mask working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Meighen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mask shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mask connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mask shoots in looking for a takedown but Meighen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mask's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tiger Mask showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Arthur Meighen.
