The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawyer rushes Honda and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lawyer jumps guard.
Honda trying to control the position from guard on top but Lawyer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lawyer working a defensive guard but Honda manages to pass into side control anyway.
Lawyer tries to buck Honda off but Honda is having none of it.
Lawyer is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Honda is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Lawyer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lawyer tries to get out of the position.
Lawyer tries to lock up and control but Honda gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Lawyer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Honda on the ground.
Lawyer is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lawyer is trying to escape the mount.
Honda content just to control the position here.

Lawyer is looking to improve his position but Honda isn't that keen on the idea.
Lawyer could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lawyer wants to hold on but Honda pushes him away.
Honda takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Lawyer is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piston Honda dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A combination from Honda does no damage.
Lawyer closes the distance and clinches up with Honda, looking for a takedown. Lawyer pushes Honda against the cage but Honda circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lawyer.
Honda drops Lawyer with a big left hand! Lawyer is injured, injured bad! Honda jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
