Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Djetic Dicni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Menezes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dicni might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to OJ SVJETLA MAJSKA ZORO . Menezes has chosen Charlinho, o menino que só queria estudar - Hermes & Renato as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dicni ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Menezes moves away.
Dicni gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Menezes counters with a left to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Menezes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Menezes counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dicni!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Menezes lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Dicni down.

It looks like Djetic Dicni has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dicni tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Menezes scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Dicni to see if he's OK.

Djetic Dicni's cut is getting worse.
Menezes connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dicni some visible discomfort.

Djetic Dicni's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Djetic Dicni's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
