Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tj Cummings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Brit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cummings might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Misfits - Die Die My Darling . Tj Cummings has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brit rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cummings counters with a nice body kick.
Cummings showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brit.

It looks like Tj Cummings has been cut.
Brit stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cummings.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brit lands a really nice looking cross but Cummings seems unphased.
Brit swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Cummings makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Brit really felt that one!

Brit takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Cummings lands a nice looking kick to the body. Brit takes a step back to recover.
Cummings has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cummings throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Brit blocks it with crossed arms.
Cummings lands a nice uppercut.
Brit prevents a body shot from Cummings.
Brit breaks from the clinch.
Brit has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Cummings.
Cummings scores with a leg kick.
Cummings bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brit's head.
It looks like Johnny Brit has been cut.

Cummings fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brit, pushing him back against the cage.

Brit is trying to break free.
Brit blocking some punches.
Cummings tries to land a knee to the head but Brit blocks with his arms.
Brit's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Cummings with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Cummings tries to throw a body punch but Brit avoids it by throwing Cummings back against the cage.
Brit breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cummings scores with a hook to the body. Brit takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Brit lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cummings misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Johnny Brit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cummings throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cummings connects with a crisp jab.
Brit throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brit drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Brit throws a jab when Cummings was well out of range.
Brit takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Cummings throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Brit takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Cummings and Brit are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Cummings throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Brit into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Cummings knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Tj Cummings!
Tj Cummings was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
