Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Amyot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Fulton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon Amyot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Amyot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Fulton!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fulton moves out of range as Amyot throws a body kick.
Amyot tries to clinch up.
Amyot tries to clinch but Fulton moves out of range.
Amyot closes the distance and clinches up with Fulton, looking for a takedown. Amyot pushes Fulton against the cage but Fulton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Amyot misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Amyot comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fulton keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Amyot. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Amyot throws a head kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amyot closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fulton circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Fulton. No joy for Amyot on that attempt.

A head kick misses from Amyot.
Amyot throws a looping overhand right but Fulton ducks down to avoid it.
Amyot fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fulton keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Fulton gets a takedown into half guard.
Amyot is breathing heavily.
Fulton wants to free his trapped foot but Amyot is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Fulton is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Amyot doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fulton.
Fulton uses his free foot to push down on Amyot's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Amyot.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Fulton looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Fulton is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Amyot fails with the takedown

and Fulton counters with a nice double leg into side control. Amyot won't be happy with that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Amyot is not content to let Fulton control the position.
You can see the frustration on Amyot's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Fulton tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Fulton in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Amyot is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
